Fareham rapist jailed for nine years

A Fareham man was sentenced today (25 May 2022) at Portsmouth Crown Court for raping a woman he did not know on the footbridge above Western Way.

Sandown man jailed for attempting to meet an underage boy for sex and for sending sexual communications to children

A man from Sandown, Isle of Wight, who pleaded guilty to attempting to meet an underage boy for sex and sent sexual communications to 21 other children on social media platforms has been jailed today (6 May 2022) at Newport Crown Court.

We will aim to be fair and accurate in all the information we publish. We will aim to correct any inaccuracies as soon as possible.

We are unable to monitor social media round the clock. We are not able to engage with all those who seek a response from us due to resources but also due to privacy and the sensitive nature of some of our work. The best way to contact the CPS is through our website.
