From May: Driver admits killing Simon West in road rage incident

Emily Clewer of the CPS said: “Arslan Farooq’s aggressive and reckless behaviour cost Simon West his life and while he has accepted culpability and has been sentenced by the court, no outcome can return Simon West to those that loved him. Our thoughts are with them at this time.

“I hope this case is a stark reminder of the consequences of road rage and the importance of driving safely and behaving responsibly. The CPS will continue to work hard to bring offenders to justice to face the legal ramifications of their actions.”
