CPS North East launches work experience programme

We are pleased to announce that CPS North East will soon be running a five-day virtual work placement for anyone currently pursuing a career in Law.

The programme will consist of five days of workshops held over Microsoft Teams, with each day’s session lasting for between four to six hours. The aim of the programme is to provide attendees with a good understanding of the work of the Crown Prosecution Service within the Magistrates’ Courts and Crown Courts.

Applications are limited to those over the age of 16 and those applying must be available for one of the following set of dates:

Monday 5 June – Friday 9 June
Monday 9 October – Friday 13 October

Please be aware that it may not be possible to accommodate all applicants during the above scheduled sessions. However, we will be looking to provide further work experience opportunities if there is sufficient demand for places.
