Her Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) have today issued a report following their inspection of CPS East of England.
Gender Pay Gap (GPG) legislation introduced in 2017 requires all employers with 250 employees or more to report annually on their gender pay gap. Government departments are covered by the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties and Public Authorities) Regulations 2017 which underpin the Public Sector Equality Duty and requires the relevant organisations to publish their gender pay gap data by 30 March annually.

Hate incidents as one-offs or a related series of events can send reverberations through communities, just as they can reinforce established patterns of prejudice and discrimination. This is why it is so important for hate crime to be prosecuted effectively.

This table provides an overview of work we have delivered and work underway against each of the CPS themes. Of the 26 actions we committed to in RASSO 2025 for 2020/21, we have completed 17. On each of the remaining actions, work is underway and progress has been made against each. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has meant we have all had to adapt to unprecedented circumstances. We have adapted our delivery of certain actions, focusing on the same outcome, against the context of the pandemic.
