A 26-year-old man who posted comments encouraging the recent public disturbances in England has been sentenced at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court today.

A Penarth man who thought he was meeting a 12-year-old girl for sexual contact after chatting with her online has been sentenced at Swansea Crown Court.

William Kidd, 27, has been jailed for four years.

Christopher Cooper, 39, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 16 years at Swansea Crown Court for killing a man with one punch outside a pub in Gorseinon.
