A man has been convicted of killing his grandfather following a violent attack that left the pensioner with fatal brain injuries.

Chas Corrigan, 22, has today been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 22 years and six months for the murder of Cambridge student Mohammed Algasim.
