Three men who committed a series of sexual offences against a young girl with learning difficulties have been jailed.

The Crown Prosecution Service prosecuted Deon Smith, 45, Jordan Wint, 31 and Daryl German, 43, for a series of sexual offences that took place across several days in June 2025 after the 14-year-old victim had ran away from home.

German targeted the victim and persuaded her to go back to his flat before raping her, later inviting Wint over to do the same. He then brought her to Smith’s flat where she was then raped again.

During this time, the victim was given crack cocaine and alcohol.

On 27 January 2026, following a trial at Woolwich Crown Court, the three men were found guilty of multiple counts of rape, assault by penetration and sexual activity with a child. After being presented with clear evidence by the prosecution, the jury found the defendants guilty.

Today, German was sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment at Woolwich Crown Court. Wint received a six year sentence while Smith received seven years.

“Daryl German, Deon Smith and Jordan Wint groomed a young girl with alcohol and drugs before sexually abusing her over several days without a shred of regard for her regard, undoubtedly causing serious, lifelong harm.

“I want to pay tribute to the victim in this case for her immense courage in supporting the prosecution. Her strength and resolve means her abusers have now been held accountable for their horrific crimes and will now pay the penalty.

“The CPS will continue to work tirelessly with our partners across the criminal justice system to ensure perpetrators of these vile crimes are held to account and that the victims receive the support they need throughout the process.”
