The deaths of Grace O’Malley-Kumar, Barnaby Webber and Ian Coates and attempts to kill Wayne Birkett, Marcin Gawronski and Sharon Miller in Nottingham in June 2023 were the result of a senseless attack which has had a devastating impact on families, friends and communities.

Our deepest sympathies and thoughts remain with the victims and their loved ones. We recognise the wish of the families to understand more about the events both leading up to this terrible attack and the decisions taken in the aftermath.

The CPS is fully engaging with the public inquiry into the Nottingham attacks.
