Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) involvement with 2009 decision regarding Mohammed Al Fayed
|FoI Release
Request
I understand from media reports that the CPS considered prosecution of the owner of Harrods, Mr Mohammed Al Fayed (I think this was in 2009) and that the CPS subsequently decided not to proceed with a prosecution.
I want to know if the Director of Public Prosecutions at that time
- Saw the file?
- Took part in any decision not to prosecute?
Could you please provide me with any information held that will answer these questions.
Response
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) holds no recorded information regarding your requests.
