A teenager has been sentenced for fatally stabbing a 13-year-old boy to death in a house in Sandwell.

Youth sentenced for bringing knife to school and stabbing teacher

A youth has been sentenced after he brought a knife to a school and stabbed a teacher in the stomach.

The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced at Bristol Magistrates Court today (28 September 2023) to a 14-month detention and training order after pleading guilty to one count of possessing a bladed article and one count of attempting to wound with intent.

On the morning of 10 July 2023, the defendant called the police from a toilet cubicle in Tewkesbury School and told them that someone was going to stab a teacher.
