Six gang members have been sentenced at Leeds Crown Court to life in prison with minimum terms of a total of 91 years for the drive-by shooting of two men who had been sitting in a car in a car park near Sainsburys Local in Liversedge. Three other gang members were sentenced to eight years and two months each for their parts with another sentenced to 12 months for her involvement.

Mohammed Fike Butt (32) was sentenced to life with a minimum tariff of 28 years today (23 April) for the murder of 34-year-old Jason Llanwarne, and two offences of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. He had pleaded guilty to these offences on the fifth day of his trial.
