A football fan has been banned from attending matches for three years after racially abusing a Tamworth FC player.

There is a broad range of offences that come within the scope of a driving offence and there may be more than one offence that covers particular behaviour.

Domestic abuse is a priority for policing and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). We recognise the devastating and long-term impact that this pervasive behaviour can have on victims and their families and children, often affecting every aspect of their lives. This is why we have committed to work together to drive improvements in our response to domestic abuse by developing a national Domestic Abuse Joint Justice Plan (DA JJP).

This guidance summarises the main provisions in the Regulations. It is intended to assist prosecutors in navigating the structure of the Regulations. It is not intended to be a comprehensive guide to all aspects of the legislation. Prosecutors are therefore reminded to refer to the legislation when making charging decisions relating to Coronavirus Regulations, and to use the timeline, if applicable, to determine which provisions were in force at the time of an alleged breach.

Economic crime continues to pose a serious and evolving threat, and tackling it remains a priority for the CPS. Building upon the foundations established in our two-year progress report (2023), this final progress report marks the culmination of the CPS Economic Crime Strategy 2025. Together they highlight the progress we have made in tackling economic crime, supporting victims, and recovering criminal assets.
