A 45-year-old man from Essex and his nephew who were part of an organised immigration crime gang have been sentenced today.

Paul Farrelly, 46, from Liverpool, has been jailed after police found more than £17million worth of ketamine in the van he was driving.

Two Vietnamese nationals who arrived in the UK illegally in 2023 have been jailed today for assisting unlawful immigration by advertising their services on Facebook which were used by at least 250 people to come into the country.
