The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised Wiltshire Police to charge two people with offences related to damage caused to the protected monument Stonehenge.

A man who subjected a vulnerable woman to a terrifying and sustained sexual assault has been sentenced today at Newcastle Crown Court.

A man who killed a six-month-old baby by violently shaking him has been jailed for life.

Liam David Stimpson, 24, has today been sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment after he was found guilty of rape, following an eight-day trial at Cardiff Crown Court.
