  • prosecuted over 485,000 cases, with four in five leading to a quilty plea or verdicts
  • held 1,873 pre-trial meetings with victims of rape and serious sexual offences, putting their personal support needs at the heart of the process
  • reduced overall emissions by 35% in line with government goals to reach Net Zero by 2050
  • saved 3.4 million hours through new digital tools that streamline operational processes and save time
  • 196 employees training to become prosecutors, growing our own talent to strengthen our capacity to deliver justice into the future
  • charged 79% of the rape-flagged cases that we reviewed, delivering justice for victims
  • completed 70.8% of charging reviews or decisions within 28 days
  • brought 23 solicitors and barristers back into prosecution work through our ‘Go Prosecute’ initiative, developing their expertise with the CPS
  • increased our paralegal workforce by 20% driving improvements in case progression for quicker delivery of justice
  • grown our Crown Advocate workforce by more than 10% to help reduce Crown Court delays
