Maintained an Employee Engagement Index of 69 % in the Civil Service People Survey, four points above the benchmark

Saw tangible results in our casework quality – since the Joint National Action Plan’s launch, we’ve seen an increase % in police referrals 83 to the CPS for early advice or a charging decision, and an 86 increase in % charge volumes of adult rape flagged * suspects/defendants (between Q3 20/21 & Q3 22/23)

Secured continued growth in our funding settlement to £774 million for 2023/24
