Antisemitic abuser fined after successful CPS prosecution

A man who shouted antisemitic abuse at an orthodox Jewish man in Stamford Hill this week has been prosecuted for a hate crime.

Kevin Joseph, aged 60, pleaded guilty to religiously aggravated intentional harassment at Thames Magistrates’ Court on 18 October 2023.

Four men jailed after murdering former friend and dumping body in shallow grave

Amraj Poonia, 28, murdered 27-year-old Mohammed Shah Subhani in a row over missing cannabis on 7 May 2019. Later that day, Raneel Poonia, 26, was captured on CCTV assisting his brother to move Mr Subhani’s body from the premises of their family-owned business to his vehicle.

We will aim to be fair and accurate in all the information we publish. We will aim to correct any inaccuracies as soon as possible.
