A foot fetishist who carried out sexual acts on himself while looking at women’s feet has been convicted of committing acts outraging public decency, exposure and sexual assault.

Aaron Black, 30, [05/02/1987], committed 15 offences in three London boroughs over a nine month period with eight female victims in Hackney, Southwark and Lewisham. He sexually a ssaulted one victim in September 2016.

The last incident took place while he was on bail awaiting trial after being charged with committing the earlier offences.

His victims were often approached at bus stops.

He was found guilty today [17 May 2017] at Inner London Court of eight counts of outraging public decency, six counts of exposure and one count of sexual assault.

London CPS reviewing lawyer Varinder Hayre said: "Aaron Black was a serial offender targeting lone women in a disturbing manner, often at bus stops.

"The women he approached gave evidence of the alarm and distress his obscene acts caused them, with many of them subjected to unsettling comments about feet.

"They were able to give evidence in court shielded from the defendant by screens, as part of the CPS commitment to helping victims and witnesses give their best evidence, and we thank them for coming forward to support this prosecution."

Black will be sentenced tomorrow at Inner London Crown Court.
