North Wales paedophile convicted of decades of abuse
A 67-year-old man from north Wales has been convicted at Caernarfon Crown Court of 14 offences spanning nearly three decades.
Philip Gregory subjected five victims to serious sexual offences, including rape, over a period of 28 years from 1975 to 2003. Four of the victims were children.
The jury heard harrowing evidence of the abuse during the two-week trial before convicting Philip Gregory.
Julie Jones of the CPS said: “Philip Gregory was a sexual predator who not only abused children but also an adult.
“Despite his denials, the CPS presented evidence to the Court to prove he was responsible for very serious sexual offences.
“The victims in this case have our thanks for their cooperation throughout the investigation and Court process enabling the CPS to make sure Gregory answers for his crimes.”
Sentencing will take place next week.
