Man charged with inciting racial hatred after Internet radio broadcasts
Jenny Hopkins, Head of the Special Crime and Counter Terrorism Division in the CPS, said: “Following authorisation by the Crown Prosecution Service, the police have charged Graham Hart, 68, with five counts of inciting racial hatred.
“Four of the counts relate to radio broadcasts made via the internet in 2016 and one made in 2018.
“His first appearance will be at Truro magistrates’ court on 26 April.
“The function of the CPS is not to decide whether a person is guilty of a criminal offence, but to make fair, independent and objective assessments about whether it is appropriate to present charges to a court to consider.
“Criminal proceedings are now active and nothing should be published that could jeopardise the defendant’s right to a fair trial.”
