Acclaimed documentary The Prosecutors repeated on BBC Four
Bafta-nominated documentary The Prosecutors, which follows the work of the Crown Prosecution Service, is to be repeated on the BBC.
Originally shown on BBC Four in 2016, the three-part series is to be reshown on the same channel, with Episode 1 to air this evening at 10pm.
The first episode, titled "The Charge", focuses on the tragic death of 11-year-old Flynn Morrisey in a head-on car crash. The prosecutors handling the case must consider the evidence to decide whether criminal charges should be authorised - and if so, which charge.
Episode 2, titled "The Proof" will be shown on Tuesday 20 March 2018 with Episode 3, titled "The Trial" due to be broadcast on Tuesday 27 March 2018.
Made by Gold Star Productions, The Prosecutors was nominated for Best Factual Series at the 2017 BAFTAs. The series is narrated by the Peep Show actor Paterson Joseph.
Following each broadcast, episodes from the series will be available on the BBC iPlayer.
