International Division

International Division is responsible for the efficient running of the CPS's liaison magistrate network. Organised crime is international in nature and our liaison magistrates play a very important role in facilitating the CPS's international casework as well as that of other UK prosecutors.

The division also deals with the CPS's capacity building work, which is closely linked to the Government’s wider strategy of enabling jurisdictions overseas to take on prosecutions themselves and thereby to make their countries more difficult places for criminals who might harm the UK to operate in.
