Chambers Review

Chambers Review update

The Chambers Review is now complete. The cases of more than 2,615 defendants have been reviewed. Confiscation orders were made in approximately 680 of those cases. A total of 68 defendants have been contacted whose cases fall within stage 2 of the Chambers Review criteria.

Of those written to, 26 have appealed their confiscation orders. Of those 26, six have already been successfully heard by the Court of Appeal. The remaining appeals have yet to be listed by the Court of Appeal.
