Crown Prosecution Service Yorkshire and Humberside works to ensure that those breaking the law are brought to justice, victims of crime are supported and that people feel safer in their community.
Community Prosecutor
The community prosecutor is a new initiative which has been piloted in 30 areas across the country. Four of those areas are in our region. These are: Doncaster, Grimsby, Hull and Wakefield.

Community Involvement Panel
The purpose of the Community Involvement Panel (CIP) is to work with the CPS locally to raise understanding and improve confidence amongst the diverse communities of interest and the voluntary, community and faith sectors in Yorkshire and Humberside.

Schools Resources
The CPS is committed to improving public understanding of their work to ensure anyone who comes into contact with the CPS knows what support is available to them either as a victim or a witness. As part of this commitment, the National Schools Project has been developed.
