Man charged with taking nesting kestrels from Conisbrough Castle


A 27 year old man has been charged with taking a wild bird from Conisbrough Castle.

Associate Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service Karen Mann said:

"Jason Frost has today appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court charged with criminal damage and taking a wild bird on 13th June from Conisbrough Castle.

"The defendant has denied both charges and will appear before Doncaster Magistrates Court for trial on 18 November accused of stealing the nesting kestrels from an upper window ledge at the castle."
