20yr old man charged with murder of Reema Ramzan


The Crown Prosecution Service in Yorkshire and Humberside has today authorised officers in South Yorkshire police to charge a 20 year old man with the murder of Reema Ramzan.

Reema died on 4 June 2013 following an incident on Herries Road.

Senior Crown Prosecutor Mark Marriott said: "I have today authorised South Yorkshire Police to charge Aras Hussein with the murder of Reema Ramzan. I have also authorised that he be charged with three counts of assault occasioning ABH which are alleged to have occurred at Northern General Hospital where he was receiving treatment on 4 June.

"Aras Hussein will appear before Sheffield Magistrates Court this afternoon."
