Welcome to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for Yorkshire and Humberside.

The CPS is responsible for prosecuting criminal cases investigated by the police in England and Wales.

In order to do this effectively we work closely with our criminal justice partners including the Police, the Courts, the Probation Service, Prisons and Youth Offending Teams. We also work closely with Victim Support to ensure victims receive the support they need.
