Charging announcement - Cory Youlden


Suzanne Llewellyn, District Crown Prosecutor for West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), said: "I have authorised West Mercia Police to charge Cory Youlden, aged 22, with the murder of Paul Cox, aged 83. This charge relates to an incident which took place in Rubery on Friday 3rd June, 2011 when Mr Cox was found dead at his home address.

Mr Youlden has also been charged with theft and burglary. 

 "The decision was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors.

 "The defendant will appear before Redditch Magistrates' Court on the 9th June, 2011."
