West Midlands Area Operations Centre

The CPS has 13 Areas across England and Wales, each headed by a Chief Crown Prosecutor and supported by a Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor. The West Midlands Area is supported by an Area Operations Centre which houses a team of specialists in the field of business support services who support the senior management team.

They provide advice and guidance to our staff as well as staff from local government agencies and the general public.
The Area Operations goal is to maximise all possible benefits in terms of business delivery and performance in the light of the tightening budgetary constraints and to become a centre of excellence.

We provide expert support in communications, finance, performance, HR and facilities management.

Parveen Hassan, Equality, Diversity and Community Engagement Manager

Parveen is the Equality, Diversity and Community Engagement Manager. She is responsible for overseeing Community Engagement Assessments; Hate Crime Scrutiny Panels and Community Involvement Panels. She monitors the strategic performance on equality, diversity and community engagement across the Area and puts in place strategies to improve public confidence amongst the communities we serve.
  

  

Jenny Jones, Human Resources Advisor

As the Human Resources Advisor, it is her role to deliver customer focused expert advice across the full range of human resources functions across the West Midlands. This includes interpreting all CPS HR policies in order to support managers in their practical implementation.
