Partnership Working

CPS West Yorkshire works closely with it's partners in the criminal justice system on all aspects of the prosecution process.

These partners include West Yorkshire Police, Her Majesty's Courts Service, the Prison Service, Probation Service, Youth Offending Teams and Victim Support.

West Yorkshire Criminal Justice Board

Much of this work is now done through West Yorkshire Criminal Justice Board (WYCJB) which was set up in April 2003 and which consists of the Chief Officers from each of the agencies.

 

CPS West Yorkshire Panels

A new innovation in community engagement and partnership has been the establishment of the CPS West Yorkshire Hate Crime Scrutiny Panel and the Community Involvement Panel.
