Welcome to West Wessex.
West Wessex has in the region of 28 lawyers, nine Associate Prosecutors and 51support staff including Paralegal Business Managers, Paralegal officers, Assistants, Casework Assistants, reprographics. and Witness Care Officers.
CPS Wessex has also an Advocacy Unit made of twenty-six lawyers and nine support staff.
West Wessex deals with a wide range of cases such as the case of Eliott Turner who was convicted of killing his 16-year-old girlfriend and whom parents were found guilty of perverting the course of public justice.
The public' s right to live in safety and to be protected from criminal conduct lies at the heart of the Criminal justice system and we at West Wessex will continue to protect the public by prosecuting firmly and fairly and will do so in an open, transparent and independent way. Our duty is serve our communities and to do justice in every case.
