Woman charged with poisoning - Bedfordshire

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has today, Thursday, 19 July 2012, authorised officers from Bedfordshire Police to charge a woman with administering poison with intent to annoy, injure or aggrieve.

Ravinder Kaur, aged 33, of Ettrick Drive, Bedford has been charged in connection with poisoning her colleagues at a Shefford dental practice.

The charges relate to two separate incidents in March, where two female colleagues had stomach upsets, said to have been caused by dental mercury poisoning.

Ravinder Kaur will appear at Bedford Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 31 July 2012.

The woman is currently suspended from work.
