Woman charged with murder - Oxford

On the evening of Saturday, 18 August 2012, Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge a woman with murder.

Kauthar Silvera, 29, of Friars Wharf, Oxford, was charged in connection with the death of a 52-year-old woman.  The woman was found dead at an address in Friars Wharf, Oxford on the morning of Thursday, 16 August 2012.  A post mortem concluded that the cause of death was a stab wound.

Kauthar Silvera has been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court today, Monday, 20 August 2012.
