Two teenagers plead not guilty to murder

Two teenagers are to stand trial for the murder of Billy Dove.
On Monday, 06 February 2012, 18-year-old Charlie Samson and a 17-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared in custody at St Albans Crown Court.
The pair were at court for a plea and case management hearing before Judge Steven Gullick who will hear the trial later this year.
Mr Dove, who was 21 and from Hemel Hempstead, died as a result of a stab wound in Market Square in the town centre in the early hours of 06 November last year.
Mr Samson, of St Agnells Lane, Hemel Hempstead, and the 17-year-old both pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder.
They also denied a second charge of affray.
The pair were remanded in custody after being told their trial will begin on 08 May 2012.
