Two teenagers jailed following stabbing - Watford

Two teenagers appeared at St Albans Crown Court today, Friday, 23 May 2014, and were jailed in connection with a stabbing, which took place in Watford last summer.

Mohammed Khan,  aged 18, of St George's Road, Watford and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also from Watford were sentenced for their part in a stabbing, which took place in St Albans Road, Watford during the early hours of 18 July 2013, following an altercation involving two groups of youths.

Khan pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing and was sentenced to four years and six months imprisonment for the stabbing and six months for possession of the knife to run concurrently.

The 16-year-old boy was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment.

The victim, who was aged 17 at the time of the assault, received a life threatening injury to his chest as a result of the attack. He has since made a full recovery.
