Two more men charged with sexual offences - Aylesbury

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge two further men with sexual offences including rape.

The two men were charged yesterday, Tuesday, 09 September 2014, after a series of warrants were executed in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Chesham and Middlesex on Tuesday, 02 September 2014.  Details of the two men and their charges are as follows:

  • Harmohan Nangpal, aged 40, of Langdale Drive, Hayes, was charged with rape of a girl under 13.
  • Faisal Iqbal, aged 31, of Pixie Road, Aylesbury, was charged with conspiracy to rape a girl under 16.

Adrian Foster, Chief Crown Prosecutor for Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said: "Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a file was forwarded to us to consider whether any criminal charges could be brought against these two men.

"Having carefully reviewed all of the available evidence, Thames and Chiltern CPS authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge the two men with sexual offences including rape.

"The charges follow a series of warrants, which were executed in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Chesham and Middlesex on Tuesday, 02 September 2014.

"The decision to charge was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors."

The two men have been remanded in police custody to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates' Court today, Wednesday, 10 September 2014.
