Two men jailed for serious assault - High Wycombe


Two men appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, 10 October 2014, and were jailed for a combined total of eight years for joint enterprise grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.

Akeel Hussain, aged 19, of Wheelers Park in High Wycombe, and Asif Hussain, aged 23, of Plumer Road in High Wycombe, both pleaded guilty to section 18 wounding with intent and were each sentenced to four years imprisonment.

On Friday, 27 June, Hussain and Hussain attacked a 21-year-old man in Victoria Street in High Wycombe.

Akeel Hussain attacked the victim by swinging a machete at him several times, whilst Asif Hussain shouted words of encouragement and punched the victim in the chest.

The victim sustained a 4cm laceration to the top of his scalp, a laceration to his tricep which was 3-4cms deep and superficial lacerations to his hand.
