Two men jailed for drugs conspiracy - Ware

Two men from East Herts appeared at Harrow Crown Court on Friday, 22 December 2013, and were sentenced to a combined total of over four years imprisonment for conspiracy to import drugs.

The conspiracy related to large amounts of herbal cannabis being shipped from Malaga, Spain to an address in Ware between September 2011 and December 2011.

Officers from the Tactical Team recovered three kilos of herbal cannabis with a street value of £30,000 during a warrant, which was executed at an address in Highmill, Ware on 23 December 2011. The total value which is believed to have been imported during the period is approximately £100,000.

Ricky Harrison, aged 29, from Gypsy Lane, Great Amwell, pleaded guilty to the offence on 18 November. Ricky Weibel, aged 24, from Queens Road, Ware was found guilty on 20 November.

Ricky Harrison was jailed for two years eight months, and Ricky Weibel was jailed for 21 months.
