Two men found guilty of robbery - Letchworth


Two men were found guilty on Friday, 22 June 2012, at Cambridge Crown Court of robbery.

Christopher Howard, aged 28, of no fixed abode, and Oliver Jones, aged 31, of Ansell Court, Stevenage, were found guilty following a trial for the robbery, which occurred on Station Road, Letchworth at 11.30am on 13 June 2011.

The robbery occurred as a man approached Barclays Bank to deposit money.

Both men have been remanded into custody and will be sentenced on 12 July 2012 at Cambridge Crown Court.

A third defendant, Rhiannon Pile, aged 24, of Wissen Drive, Letchworth was found not guilty of the robbery.
