Two men convicted of sexual offences against children - Chesham

Two men have today, Tuesday, 09 September 2014, been convicted at Aylesbury Crown Court of sexual offences against children.

Lee Wakelin, aged 32, of Upper George Street, Chesham, was unanimously found guilty by a jury, following trial, of one count of inciting a child into prostitution, one count of trafficking within the UK, and one count of sexual activity with a child.

Arslan Khan, aged 21, of Severalls Avenue, Chesham, was unanimously found guilty by a jury, following trial, of one count of inciting a child into prostitution, one count of trafficking within the UK, and one count of inciting sexual activity.

The convictions relate to child sexual exploitation offences, which were committed in Chesham and Watford, Hertfordshire, against two 15-year-old girls between 29 January and 31 January 2012.

The men will be sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, 03 October 2014.
