Two men charged with murder - Windsor

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge two men with the murder of 24-year-old Seán Noctor, who died in Windsor on Sunday, 28 July 2013.

Benjamin Paul Brooks, aged 21, of The Chilterns, Leighton Buzzard, and Jordan Lewis Doyle, aged 21, of Kimberley Close, Luton, have both been charged with one count of murder.

Baljit Ubhey OBE, Chief Crown Prosecutor for Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said: "Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a file was forwarded to us to consider whether any criminal charges could be brought against the two men.

"Having carefully reviewed all of the available evidence, Thames and Chiltern CPS authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge the men with murder.

"The charges are in relation to an incident, which occurred in Windsor on Sunday, 28 July 2013.

"The decision to charge was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors."

Both men have been remanded in police custody to appear before Slough Magistrates' Court this morning, Wednesday, 31 July 2013.

Five other men have been arrested in connection with this investigation;  three are in police custody at this time and two have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

There is an accent over the 'A' in Sean.
