Three teenagers jailed for armed robbery - Ravenhill


Three teenagers appeared at Luton Crown Court on Wednesday, 19 November 2014 and were jailed for a combined total of more than 14 years for the armed robbery of a Luton store.

Yusif Adam, aged 18, of Loftus Close, Luton; Yusuf Hassan, aged 18, of Stonesdale, Luton, and a 17-year-old boy from Luton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, burst into Nisa in Ravenhill, on 20 June, wearing masks and brandishing a firearm and demanded members of staff hand over cash.  The trio fled with about £300.

All three were sentenced after pleading guilty to robbery and possessing a firearm.

Adam was sentenced to five-and-half years imprisonment, Hassan was sentenced to four years and eight months imprisonment, and the 17-year-old, was sentenced to four years and nine months imprisonment.
