Three men have been jailed for GBH following an incident in High Wycombe that left a man needing 50 stitches.

Ajmal Hussain, aged 28, Fasail Hussain, aged 27, and Arshad Younis, aged 25, all from Spearing Road, High Wycombe, were jailed at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, 18 May 2012, following an incident in Rutland Avenue on 02 October last year.

Ajmal Hussain was sentenced to 12-years for GBH, four years for possession of an offensive weapon and a month for breaching a suspended sentence. These sentences will run concurrently. His brother Fasail was sentenced to 12-years for GBH, four years for possession of an offensive weapon and 18-months for two assaults. These will also run concurrently. Younis was jailed for ten-and-a-half years for GBH.

The sentences follow an incident where the Hussain brothers, armed with swords, and Younis arrived outside the shops in Rutland Avenue in a silver car. They got out of the car and ran towards the victim, a 20-year-old man. Other people at the scene stopped Fasail Hussain but Ajmal reached the victim and during the altercation the victim suffered a large slash wound to his lower abdomen.
