Three men charged with murder and attempted murder - Newbury

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge three men with murder in connection with the death of a 38-year-old man in Newbury on Friday, 16 March 2012.

Joshua Anderson, aged 22, of no fixed abode, Matthew Anderson, aged 20, also of no fixed abode, and Dean Robinson, aged 32, from Thatcham, were each charged with murder last night, Monday, 19 March 2012 following the death of a 38-year-old man who was found serious injuries at an address in Queens Road on the evening of Friday, 16 March 2012.

All three have also been charged with the attempted murder of a 33-year-old man, who was found with serious injuries in Boundary Road on Friday evening.

Matthew Anderson and Joshua Anderson have also been charged with actual bodily harm in connection with an incident in which a 43-year-old man was assaulted near The Plough public house in Greenham Road, Newbury at about 10.30pm on Friday. Both men have also been charged with one count of actual bodily harm each in connection with an incident in which two men, aged 21 and 22, were assaulted in Thatcham town centre at about 1am on Saturday, 17 March 2012.

All three men will appear at Reading Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, 20 March 2012.
