Three charged with taxi driver robberies - Luton


Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has authorised officers from Bedfordshire Police to charge two further people in connection with robberies of taxi drivers in Luton.

Mitchell Brightman, aged 20, of Rutland Crescent has been charged with one count of conspiring to commit robbery, and a 16-year-old youth from Stopsley has been charged with two counts of conspiring to commit robbery.

They were remanded in custody to appear at Luton Magistrates' Court this morning, Tuesday, 01 October 2013.

A third teenager, aged 17, from Dunstable Road in Luton was charged in connection with robberies on taxi drivers and was remanded in custody by magistrates' last week.
