Pair jailed for a total of 70 years for murders - Milton Keynes

Two men convicted of murdering teenagers Mohamed Abdi Farah and Amin Ahmed Ismail in Milton Keynes have today, Friday, 11 January 2013, been sentenced at Luton Crown Court to a combined total of 70 years in jail.

Fuad Awale, aged 25, of Cranesbill Place, Conniburrow, and Sharmake Abdulkadir, aged 22, of The Fleet, Springfield, were found guilty of two counts of murder yesterday, Thursday, 10 January 2013, following a 10-week trial.

Mohamed, aged 19, and 18-year-old Amin were both fatally shot in an alleyway on the Fishermead estate on Thursday, 26 May 2011.

Awale was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 38 years, and Abdulkadir was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 32 years.
