Nine charged with drug offences - Thames Valley

Thames and Chiltern Crown Prosecution Service CPS) authorised officers from Thames Valley Police to charge nine men with drug offences after a series of warrants were executed.

The searches took place on Wednesday, 06 March 2013, and were part of an operation targeting drug dealing in Thames Valley.

The following men were charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, a controlled class A drug between 11 May 2012 - 01 November 2012, in Beaconsfield, Bucks:

  • Edmond Haxhija, aged 32, of Crispin Way, Uxbridge, Middlesex
  • Kieron Quinn, aged 29, of Ottershaw Park, Chertsey, Surrey
  • Oliver James, aged 31, of The Green, Woburn Green, High Wycombe, Bucks
  • Kole Dean, aged 31, of Exmouth Road, Ruislip, Middlesex
  • Richard Boyles, aged 33, of Hill Farm Lane, Chalfont St Giles, Bucks
  • Gjok Leshaj, aged 26, of Exmouth Road, Ruislip, Middlesex
  • Mark Ware, aged 34, of Station Close, Congresbury, Bristol.

The following men were charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, a controlled class A drug between 25 January 2012 - 01 February 2013, in Slough, Berks:

  • Wakas Ahmed, aged 26, of Connaught Road, Slough
  • Richard Boyles, aged 33, of Hill Farm Lane, Chalfont St Giles, Bucks
  • Oliver James, aged 31, of The Green, Woburn Green, High Wycombe, Bucks
  • Grant White, aged 32, Cromwell Road, Whitstable, Kent.

In addition, Wakas Ahmed was charged with the offence of acquiring, using or having in his possession criminal property, namely a quantity of cash.

Seven of these men appeared at Slough Magistrates' Court today, Thursday, 07 March 2013. The two remaining men (White and Dean) will appear at Reading Magistrates' court tomorrow, Friday, 08 March 2013.

Three further people arrested on suspicion of drug related offences were bailed, pending further enquiries, until 19 April 2013:

  • A 34-year-old man from Walton Cross, Hertfordshire
  • A 32-year-old woman from Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire
  • A 45-year-old man from Uxbridge, Middlesex.
