Man pleads not guilty to murder of taxi driver - Bedford


On Friday, 27 April 2012, a Bedford man pleaded not guilty to the murder of taxi driver, Mehar Dhariwal.

Daniel Rogers, 26, had the charge put to him via a video link between Luton Crown Court and Bedford prison, where he is being held on remand.

Judge Richard Foster told Rogers, of The Cloisters that his trial will begin on 11 July this year at Luton Crown Court.

Mr Dhariwal, 61, died on 29 January this year, a week after an assault outside a cab office in St. Peters Street, Bedford.
