A 21-year-old man was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, 22 February 2013, to 15 years in prison for the rape, sexual assault and assault of a woman in Milton Keynes last year.

David Billington of Angel Close, Pennylands, Milton Keynes, was found guilty of two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of assault at Amersham Crown Court on 15 January 2013.

At around 7.30am on 01 July 2012, Billington entered a house in Harrowden, Bradville, Milton Keynes. He found a pillowcase drying and put it over his head and went into a bedroom where he woke the occupant, a 50-year-old woman.

Billington carried out a sustained attack on his victim that lasted half-an-hour, during which she was physically and sexually assaulted, and raped.

When Billington left the house, the victim alerted a relative, who called the police and ambulance.

The victim suffered bruising to all areas of her body.
