Man jailed for robbery - Bampton


A 29-year-old man has today, Monday, 07 January 2013, been sentenced at Oxford Crown Court to three years and nine months imprisonment for the robbery of a business property in Bampton.

Daniel Kisfaludi of Havelock Road, Luton, entered the post office in Bampton on 20 October 2012, assaulted the post mistress and stole cash and a laptop. He was pursued by members of the public and arrested nearby shortly after the robbery.

The assault left the postmistress with an injury to her tooth, face and jaw, which required medical attention.
